Sherri Sandifer Has New R&B Hit "Don't Call Me"
Sherri Sandifer, a multi-talented singer/songwriter and Yale-trained medical doctor who hails from Houston, Texas, has released the much anticipated debut single from her album loverevolution. The single entitled “Don’t Call Me” is an anthem for anyone who has ever had to move on from a failing relationship. The single’s infectious beat, timeless lyrics and confident attitude make it a song for R&B lovers of any age. “Don’t Call Me”, co-written by Sherri Sandifer, James Smith, and Nicole Kelly (BMI), is produced by Grammy award winner Dru Castro and remixed by the Roundtable Kings. The public can now hear a slice of the musical stylings of a woman whose R&B star is on the rise. Even at an early age, Sherri’s musical talent was apparent as she became an accomplished pianist and flutist. Sherri’s vocal and songwriting influences include Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Michael McDonald, and Donny Hathaway. Sherri expanded her musical interests as a student at Yale when she sang with Shades, an a capella singing group known for its R&B, pop, and gospel repertoire and its memorable choreography. During her years with Shades as a performer, musical director, and songwriter, the group’s following expanded widely. Sherri’s longtime friend and manager Nicole Kelly introduced her to Atlanta producer Dru Castro, who has recorded with such artists as India.Arie, Usher, Mary J, Blige, and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. That introduction led to a busy time for Sherri, taking care of pediatric patients in Houston Monday through Friday and flying to Atlanta on the weekends to write and record the loverevolution album. Finally, her passions for both music and medicine were being nurtured. “Don’t Call Me” is currently in rotation on major urban radio stations all over the US and has garnered early attention as a hit record. The record is available via Itunes, Amazon.com and KES Music & Video Distribution. Go to www.sherrisandifer.com for more info. Watch the video for “Don’t Call Me”

Check out David Simon's new "Click" video
You witness what it’s like to see a marriage fall apart between David J. Simon and his leading lady. There’s David literally clicking around his computer, looking at pictures of her and reliving those frozen moments in time – from their wedding to the time spent with their kids. Throughout the video, you realize that the bad times outweigh the good as their intense fights get reenacted and the combination of her alcoholism with her jealousy of his music proves to be emotionally fatal. His reminiscing of the happy memories quickly fades when he remembers what tore them apart and that there was simply little promise for the future. At the same time, he struggles with the thought of deleting those memories entirely.
